                 CROSS GAMES EUROPE

Hello Drifters and Drift-girls.

We are proud to announce something special. This year we have an attandance of team Weld/Overdose at our race End of Summer 2016. At the same time we would like to announce that this year it will be called  CROSS GAMES EUROPE. Cross Games is RC Drift championship that has become really famous in the birth place of drifting – in Japan. Assosiated with the arrival of two drivers from team WELD/Overdose, there will be lots of prizes from the sponsors of Cross Games. I am really happy that one of the wordls best drivers can come to our event and can show their skills. Without any doubts, there is a lot to look forward to. Therefore you shouldn’t plan anything during 9th -11th September and write this into your calendar: “I HAVE FREE TIME AND I AM COMING TO BRNO FOR CROSS GAMES EUROPE”.

The event will take part from 9th September till 11th September 2016. Again as the previous year, it will be held in:

OC FUTURUM, Vídeňská 132/100, 619 00 Brno     GPS: 49.1558761N, 16.5977750E

On Friday, there will be free practice both on the main track and practice tracks. This year, practice tracks will be in the garage of the shopping center, so there will be enough space. On Saturday, the main judge – Atsushi Ito will set the layout of the main track and there will be official practice scheduled according to the groups of registered drivers. Its expected to complete qualification on Saturday and to continue with battles on Sunday.

The surface will be carpet and the tires of choice will be DS-Racing DS-006 series II FFF Zero for AWD and DS-Racing RWD F-zero-rear axle for RWD. The tires won’t be included in the registration fee but they will be available in the shop at the event. You can use the ones you have or buy new ones at the event.

There will be 3 judges: 1. Atsushi Ito  2. Tomáš Viktora  3. Jan Černík

Again there will be both AWD and RWD. Registration fee is the same for AWD and RWD and that’s 25euros each. For both categories it is 38 euros.

The pits will be ready and held in closed stores of the shopping center, this time with functioning air-condition. Its recommended to bring your own extension cords.

We plan a bit of social time on Saturday evening as we would like to organize a dinner in nearby restaurant. It is good opportunity to get know other people as well as to check czech cuisine. Everyone will pay for the dinner separately.  In the registration form, please don’t forget to include whether you want to go to the dinner or not. We need to know the number of people in order to reserve enough seats.

Accomodation is up to everyone’s choice. For those who are brave enough, there is a camp same as last year.

Ahoj Drifteři a drifterky

Hlásíme se Vám s úžasnou novinkou. Letos se nám podařilo dojednat účast týmu WELD/Overdose na našem závodě End of Summer 2016. Zároveň jsme se dohodli na přejmenování této události na CROSS GAMES EUROPE. Cross Games je RC driftový šampionát který se koná v domovině driftu- Japonsku.  S tím souvisí i účast dvou jezdců WELD/Overdose týmu  a množství cen od sponzorů Cross Games. Jsem velice rád, že se k nám dostanou tito jezdci světové špičky a předvedou své dovednosti.... Určitě se máte na co těšit. Takže si nenechte ujít tuto úžasnou příležitost a datum 9.-11.září si tučně vyznačte do svého kalendáře jako " MÁM VOLNO A JEDU DO BRNA NA CROSS GAMES EUROPE!!!! :-O "

Závod se uskuteční od pátku 9. září do neděle 11. září 2016 opět v  

OC FUTURUM, Vídeňská 132/100, 619 00 Brno     GPS: 49.1558761N, 16.5977750E

V pátek bude volné ježdění na hlavní i tréninkové ploše. Tréninkové dráhy budou letos v garážích, takže bude dostatek místa na dvě dráhy.... V sobotu hlavní soudce Atsushi Ito určí  závodní dráhu a začnou tréninky na závodní dráze podle skupin přihlášených jezdců. Předpoklad je, že v sobotu by se měly odjet kvalifikace a v neděli battly.

Pojede se opět na koberci a opět na gumách DS-Racing DS-006 FFF pro kategorii AWD a RWD F-zero- pro zadní nápravu pro kategorii RWD. Tyto gumy již nebudou součástí startovného. Můžete použít dostatek svých zásob z minulého ročníku a nebo z YEDAcupu... Ti co gumy nemají si je budou moci samozřejmě zakoupit na místě.

Zázemí bude opět přichystané v uzavřených prodejnách a tentokrát už by měla fakčit i klima.... :-) Bude jen nutné si donést prodlužky či rozdvojky...

Na sobotní večer plánujeme společnou večeři v né moc daleké restauraci, ať se trochu prolomí mezinárodní komunikace a zahraničním účastníkům dáme ochutnat trochu české kuchyně. Večeři si bude platit každý sám, jen mi prosím do registračního emailu napište , jestli máte zájem či nikoliv o tuto večeři, ať rezervujeme dostatek míst k sezení.

Ubytování si bude řešit každý sám. Ti co nejsou padavky, tak určitě s námi zvládnou camp. Máme zamluvený stejný co loni. Někteří na něj mají skvělé vzpomínky a někteří si raději nic nepamatují... :-)

This year fell to a base camp at Camp Alpa in Ostrovačice again. The camp is 17 km from Futurum and all the time on the highway. In the camp there are showers and toilets, fireplace, grill and pub with beer on tap and hot and cold dishes.
